If you are planning to create a visual CV for yourself soon, do not waste your time trying out the many cool alternative tools that are available out there to create one, like Easel.ly, LinkedIN Resume Builder, Vizify, Infogr.am and several others. In my view, even if you use a fancy visualization tool, what makes the most difference is having a unique visual "idea" to support the presentation of your credentials. This is why I suggest that, if you have the fancy and skills to create your own visual CV, there is no better resource for inspiration that I know of, than this huge Pinterest collection by Randy Krum. The new LinkedIN Resume Builder is a great web app which allows anyone with a LinkedIN account to create a professional-looking resume by selecting from a number of ready-made templates. The new app taps into your LinkedIN account info to extract and categorize all of your profile info, while leaving you with the option to edit and modify any of the data that will appear in the final resume and any of the pre-set fields that will displayed. There are about a dozen different templates to choose from, and my first impression is that they all look quite good. Your new final resume can be directly shared with others on all major social media and via a direct URL, and can be also saved and exported as a PDF. I find Resume Builder from LinkedIN to be an excellent tool to create an always-up-to-date and professional-looking CV / resume in a matter of seconds. P.S.: There may be some "pagination" issues as you will see when you export to PDF, but these can be circumnavigated easily. I am sure there will be improvements in future updates. Free to use. Il nuovo LinkedIN Resume Builder è una fantastica web app che ti permette con un account LinkedIn di creare curriculum dall'aspetto professionale, scegliendo tra una serie di modelli già pronti. Quest'applicazione prende i dati dal tuo account LinkedIn per estrarre e classificare tutte le informazioni del profilo.
Quando inizi ad usarlo, hai la possibilità di editare e modificare uno qualsiasi dei dati che appariranno nel curriculum finale e puoi personalizzare anche i campi pre-impostati che verrano visualizzati. Ci sono circa una dozzina di modelli diversi tra cui scegliere, e la mia prima impressione è che sembrano tutti abbastanza buoni. Il tuo nuovo curriculum può essere condiviso su tutti i principali media sociali e tramite un URL diretto, e può anche essere salvato ed esportato in formato PDF. Trovo Resume Builder di LinkedIn un ottimo strumento per creare un curriculum aggiornato e dall'aspetto professionale, in una manciata di secondi.
